R Madhavan aka Maddy turned 48 on June 1. The actor, who is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai’s Zero, celebrated his birthday on the film’s sets along with Shah Rukh Khan. Taking to social media, Maddy shared few pictures from the celebrations and wrote, “Crazyyy Funnnn Birthdays.. oh man .. Unforgetable...”

Few months back, SpotboyE.com had told you that Tanu Weds Manu actor was approached for Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. However, things didn’t work out and eventually Sonu Sood was brought in.

Meanwhile, Zero also stars Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Abhay Deol and Tigmanshu Dhulia and will feature cameos from Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, late legendary actor Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Madhavan. The film is about a vertically challenged man (played by Shah Rukh), who falls in love with a superstar (played by Katrina). Anushka Sharma plays the role of an intellectually disabled woman.
